Quarantine-free travel – Vanuatu

You can travel from Vanuatu to New Zealand without having to go into a managed isolation facility when you arrive.

If you arrive in New Zealand from Vanuatu by air, and are eligible to enter New Zealand, you are not required to enter a managed isolation facility and therefore you do not need a voucher for managed isolation.

Quarantine-free travel is only available one way, from Vanuatu to New Zealand.

Standard quarantine-free travel requirements remain in place for travellers from Vanuatu – passengers are required to confirm they meet health and eligibility requirements, and they are required to complete Nau Mai Rā. RSE Workers from Vanuatu

Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) workers can also travel from Vanuatu to New Zealand, without having to go into a managed isolation facility when they arrive.
