To reduce the chance of the COVID-19 Omicron variant entering New Zealand, nine southern African countries have been added to the very-high-risk countries list. This means only New Zealand citizens from these countries can enter, and will be required to spend 14 days in Managed Isolation and quarantine. Find out more(external link)
